INSTALLING THE SUMPS

The Rubber Roofing Co. “Rubco” Molded  sumps are designed primarily for use in plywood

formed box gutters but can be used in other applications.


Plywood Gutters

Design & build the gutter minimum width

IMR 100 & 120  300mm  

IMR 130  400mm  

Cut a retangular hole for the sump

IMR 100 & 120  440 x 250  

IMR 130  440 x 340  

Rebate the edge of the hole 4mm deep & 30mm wide on all sides

Drop in the sump and fasten with countersunk self tapping screws

- minimum 4 screws.


Casting into Concrete Roofs

Either

(a) cast a hole larger & frame down to meet it using timber

framework.

Or

(b) cast the sump in-situ, fixing the 4 suitable fastners to the flange t

o lock the sump into the concrete when it is poured. Countersunk

screws with bent shanks can be used for this.

shown opposite.

INSTALLING THE RUBCO DOMESTIC SUMP

The RUBCO Domestic Sump is designed primarily for use in plywood-formed

substrates but can be use in other applications..


IMPORTANT NOTE:
This product is to be rebated 4mm so that the flange does not sit higher than

the substrate. This is to be secured with stainless steel screws. The number

of screws is relative to the number of holes allocated.
